Planning to use your health insurance for physiotherapy? Follow the simple steps below to confirm your cover and arrange your appointment.

Check that your policy covers physiotherapy and ask whether you can self-refer.

Arrange a Referral if Required
Some insurers may ask for a GP referral before approving treatment. Skip this step if your policy allows direct access.

Contact Your Insurer for Authorisation
Before your first session, contact your insurer to request authorisation for physiotherapy treatment.
You may be asked to provide:

the reason for your physiotherapy treatment;

Contact Me to Book
Once your treatment has been approved, call, text, email or send me a WhatsApp message to arrange your appointment.
Please have the following details ready:

your authorisation code;
-
the number of sessions approved;

details of any excess or co-payment.
